    • Full Package: Minimum non-refundable deposit of US$500 P/P is due at the time of registration to secure your spot OR no later than June 11, 2022 (deposit deadline).

COVID-19 TRAVEL PROTOCOLS :

  • ​St. Lucia Travel Protocols updated effective April 2, 2022: Please refer to https://www.stlucia.org/en/covid-19/ for more information.

  • Fully Vaccinated Travellers (*Fully vaccinated means two weeks has passed since the second dose of a two-dose vaccine, or since a single-dose vaccine. Vaccine proof must be presented on entry to Saint Lucia).

  • There is no requirement for pre-travel test or quarantine for fully vaccinated travellers. 

  • Vaccinated travellers will have unrestricted access to St. Lucia.

  • Unvaccinated Travellers: Unvaccinated travellers aged 5 years and older must have a valid negative Standard COVID-19 PCR test done within 5 days prior to arrival. 

  • Unvaccinated travellers will be required to quarantine on property and can only leave to participate in certified tours, activities and dining.

TRAVEL NOTES:

  • Traveling to St. Lucia requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. Please take a look at your passport right now to be sure it does not expire soon. Refunds will not be provided for expired passports.

  • When making your reservations, you can choose to pay in full or select our convenient payment plan. Please review our Auto Payment Plan Option (if available).

  • If you choose the monthly payment plan, you will receive monthly notices when your payment is due.

  • Provided full payment is received no later than your Final Payment Due date, travel documents, itineraries and travel instructions will be sent via email within 21 days or earlier prior to travel.

  • Harbor Club Saint Lucia is located approximately 15 minutes from the George F.L. Charles Airport.

  • Roommate matching assistance is available for this trip after 75% payment.

  • Rooms will have either one king bed or two double beds.

  • It is the traveller’s responsibility to notify The Travel Empire of any email address changes.

  • At check-in, a credit card will be required and placed on file to cover anticipated room incidentals.

  • A private Facebook/WhatsApp group will be created 14 days before travel (Tier 1 Full Experience Package only).

  • The full package is a women's only group experience. Men & children will not be able to attend the full experience (Tier 1) unless booked as an individual trip under Tiers 2 & 3 (without meet-up add-on).

FLIGHT DETAILS:​

  • InterCaribbean Airways (NB. not our preferred airline but it's the most economical non-stop option). Other airline options (e.g. Caribbean Airlines) will require an overnight in T&T or do not have daily flight options to St. Lucia at this time. Below are the flight dates & times for the group.

  • Depart July 29: 5:30PM-6:15PM 

  • Return Aug 2: 9:45AM-10:30AM

TERMS & POLICIES

  • Making reservations for this trip signifies your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. 

  • Due to strict contractual obligations with suppliers for group bookings which will not allow us to obtain refunds, all payments to The Travel Empire are non-refundable and non-transferrable. You are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance to protect your investment.

  • If the trip has to be postponed due to travel restrictions, border closures or any unforeseen event, the trip will be rescheduled to a later date. We also reserve the right to cancel/postpone the trip for any reason including but not limited to low registrations for the group experience and alternative options will be provided.

  • Reservations must be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your passport. If you enter your name incorrectly, a name fee may apply.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. Please make your reservations today at this low price to be locked in.

  • Itinerary is subject to change as circumstances warrant.

  • Monthly payments are required to keep your reservations current. Your invoice will clearly note your payment plan.

  • Balances not paid in full by final due date are subject to penalty fee and/or trip cancellation.

  • Payments are processed directly through The Travel Empire via our third party merchant account. The credit card provided on file via credit card authorisation will be used for all payments unless otherwise advised. Cash payments are not accepted.

  • If you do not have a roommate, you will be responsible for the single occupancy rate. Roommates may be added to your reservation before final payment if room occupancy and availability allows.

  • If you choose our payment plan, monthly payments are required to keep your reservations current unless you make larger monthly payments than what is required. You must ensure your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely monthly payments.

  • Travellers will be responsible for incidentals that occur during their trip.

  • Deposit is due by the deposit deadline to reserve your spot. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If the deposit deadline has passed, your payment will be prorated based on final payment date. 

  • Name changes - allowed with a US$100 name change fee after booking and prior to the final payment date + any vendor/airline/supplier fees. Name changes are not allowed after final payment date.

  • Change fee - After booking and making your deposit, there will be a US$50 change fee per person for any changes or modifications to the reservation, plus any applicable airline/supplier change fees before any changes can be made.

  • Late payment fee - US$50 per person if payments are not received by close of business on the monthly due date on your invoice. US$150 per person late payment fee is required after final payment due date.

  • All late payment requests must be approved by management before the final payment due date on your invoice.

  • Travellers can opt to pay for their trip in full at time of registration.

  • Travellers must agree to our Group Harmony policy and maintain an acceptable standard of behavior or risk being removed from the group during travel and forfeiting their trip and trip investment. We aim to create a culture of respect and positivity and ask all attendees to help maintain that environment for the benefit of the group.

  • Travellers who unfortunately test positive for COVID-19 while in destination will be responsible for any additional costs without any liability to The Travel Empire. Travellers must agree to our COVID-19 Health Waiver after registering for this trip whereby traveller accepts that COVID-19 is a known global risk and understands and accepts that risk.

    When booking a vacation, the last thing you as traveller should have to do is worry, after all you are going on vacation to relax and get away from the stresses of work and life in general. We are here to walk you through the entire process, answer your questions, and design an exciting vacation just for you with ongoing support.   • Where is your office located?
    We are located at #2 Ronald Tree House, 10th Avenue Belleville, St. Michael (corner of Pine Road & 10th Avenue; yellow Plantation style building opposite Ace Pharmacy & the Dermatological Institute).
  • Do you do walk ins?
    No, our office hours are by appointment only. We offer personalized travel services to our clients on a part time basis.
  • Do you charge a retainer fee for research and travel planning?
    Yes, effective February 1, 2020, a non-refundable Research & Planning Retainer Fee will be implemented for some of our travel services EXCEPT cruise only requests & our pre-designed packages. This one-time fee is separate from the total trip cost and must be paid prior to a Travel Advisor commencing any research, booking or concierge services. No quotations will be processed until the planning fee is received. The Trip Planning Retainer Fee includes: custom itinerary, flights, hotels, tours, and ongoing support before, during and after travel. Once a customised quotation request is received, we will schedule a free 5 minute consultation call prior to payment of the planning fee, to explain our booking process and discuss your proposed travel plans. If you wish to proceed, you will be provided with our Planning Fee Agreement and only ONE person has to submit payment to begin service.   • THE PLANNING RETAINER FEE ENTITLES YOU TO:
    Initial free consultation call to discuss your travel plans. Your preferred choice from two (2) quotation options (i.e. one destination and two revisions after the initial quote or two destinations and a revision of one after the initial quote). Personalized destination research to design a travel package customized specifically for you. Booking and management of all trip components. Up to three (3) hotel options to choose from based on your budget (where applicable). Maximum of two (2) revisions only depending on quotation option selected. Unlimited support from time of booking a travel planning service until you return from your trip. NB. Requests for updated pricing or general queries concerning the selected trip prior to the 30 day booking window will not attract additional fees. Prices are always subject to change after initial quotation and until payment is applied.
  • ​​Trips/packages we post or advertise:
    There are no planning retainer fees for our pre-designed packages that we advertise or for our hosted group trips. Any changes to dates, hotels or destinations will be treated as a new travel request.
  • Methods of payment:
    Paypal Online bank transfer via FCIB, Scotiabank or RBC mMoney App - accessed from our website under Payment Tab Cash at our Travel Office in Belleville (by appointment only) NB. *The Planning Retainer Fee is subject to change based on complexity of itinerary.
  • Why do you require a Trip Planning Retainer Fee?
    We require a Planning Retainer Fee because we are a professional service provider and like most professional service providers, we must charge a fee to remain in business. We have provided free research & planning services since commencing operations in 2015, however this is no longer sustainable for our small business. The planning process is the most important step and we will do all the heavy lifting for you. It takes a considerable amount of time to research and create a memorable, hassle free travel experience. Our nominal fees are intended to ensure that our clients receive the quality of service expected and deserved. Most of our clients will agree that a planning fee is a small price to pay to ensure that their travel is personalized and booked by an experienced & knowledgeable Travel Advisor. If you do not wish to pay a planning concierge fee, there are many online booking engines and you are free to research and book your own travel arrangements.
  • I’ve never worked with a travel agent before. What do I need to know?
    It’s understandable that you may feel limited by your vacation budget. That’s why The Travel Empire is dedicated to helping you receive the best possible value. As your personal Travel Advisor, I’ll devote time and effort to making sure you’re happy with your travel options. If you need any assistance, I’m just a phone call or e-mail away, so you’ll receive the immediate attention you not only need, but also deserve. Life happens, and in the rare case that something on your trip doesn’t go as planned, I’ll be here to resolve the problem, so you can relax and enjoy.   • Is there anything you don’t book?
    We can technically book anything, however flight only bookings are not commissionable for travel agencies and therefore will attract a service fee. You are always free to book your flights online directly with the airline as agencies seldom get discounts on flights. Service fees will apply for flight only bookings if you wish to proceed. NOTE: We do not work with companies or hotels that do not work with travel agents (ie. small bed & breakfast properties, or websites like AirBnB, VRBO, Homeaway etc.), you will have to book these directly.
  • What is a honeymoon registry?
    It's a wedding registry for your honeymoon and works similar to a traditional department store registry. Guests can purchase portions of your honeymoon as wedding gifts. You receive the funds or the funds are applied to pay for what your guests have purchased. Begin your life together with an unforgettable honeymoon experience by creating your own customised registry. You will be giving your wedding guests a convenient gift alternative to crockware or household appliances and a way to be a part of your lasting honeymoon memories. You can also use a honeymoon registry in addition to a traditional registry so that guests have a choice of physical gifts vs purchasing an experience.
